If education has to achieve its goal of personal and social transformation, then befriending the students on their intellectual and moral journey by qualified teachers becomes an essential part of the education ministry of the state. Young men and women are to be trained to bring about changes within them and thus become agents of change in the society to ensure justice equity for those it is denied. This process may be called “Andragogy”, training and development of the person through whom transformation of the society is brought about. “Andragogy” is different from “pedagogy” which is more of educational methodology by which one is trained to absorb knowledge from empirical realities. My prayer and vision is that every student who marches out of Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya be an animator of society who has brought within him interior and moral transformation.

The most important & vital asset of any educational institute is not the grand building, but a lot of dedicated teachers who understands the principle of psychological & cognitive development of the students & apply it earnestly. A dream institute most ensures that its teachers have a clear understanding of children's behaviours. Without this knowledge effective teaching is not possible & in this institute (Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya) we made possible efforts to create such teachers who are well qualified, dedicated & having clear understanding of children's, behaviours as we believe that "An education system isn't worth a great deal if it teaches young people how to make a living, but doesn't teach them how to live".
